Megan was one of Gemy’s first assistant’s and has spent her entire career at Studio 39 since graduating from Paul Mitchell’s first class in 2009. In eight years this experienced stylist and S39 veteran has accomplished more than many stylists during their entire career. She has even been recognized by Paul Mitchell for her remarkable success in such a short time. She is the salon manager of S39 in addition to being a master stylist and master extensionist. At the beginning of her career she worked side by side with Gemy at a fast pace, double booking clients and managing Gemy’s vast clientele. During that time she learned Vidal Sassoon cutting techniques, advanced color work with multiple process color and several different extension methods. She also worked on editorial photo shoots, fashion week, organized bridal parties and helped create S39 systems that are used to this day. By the time she was 23 she had her own large clientele and personal assistants of her own. Along with Gemy she trained Salon assistants and stylists twice her age and became a master stylist by the time she was 25. With her poise and talent she soon grew to be a well known blonde hair color expert and became a top requested stylist. Her achievements soon gained attention outside of the Salon which earned her a reputation as a respected stylist in the local Kansas City salon community. She comes from a successful business oriented family with hard working values which helped give her the skills to assist in keeping S39 organized as it grew into one of the most well known salons in the area. She helped create the training program in the Salon which set the standard for future salon assistants and stylists to come. Now she spends her time servicing her clientele while helping run the Salon in day to day responsibilities and behind the scenes. Her excellent customer service and experience in a busy salon environment makes her a respected asset to the Salon by staff and guests alike. Outside of work Megan likes taking walks with her husband and their corgi Daisy and enjoys artsy activities like crafting.
