Below are prices for hair services. We are a leveled salon so prices vary but you can get a general idea of price by level. Stylists are measured in skill, experience, training, and leadership but all of our stylists are either in or have completed our core training. If you would like specific prices for a stylist please call the salon at 816-756-1187. We do not quote hair extension prices or advanced color work over the phone. These require a consultation. Hair is Hair.
Hair is hair and style is matter of preference. Regardless of gender or pronouns, we book cuts “men’s or women’s” because of length and cutting techniques. We have men who rock buns and ladies who have buzzcuts and celebrate and welcome all. Improving human hair is our thing, but classic salon vernacular keeps it simple in the salon so you can be the best version of your fabulous self outside of the salon. If you’re unsure which stylist is best for your do, just ask and we will help you choose.
We Speak Color Science Facts.
There’s really nothing “basic” about our color work so it’s difficult to give basic prices. We use whatever technique or process necessary to get what you want. We communicate and don’t over promise. Think of color like fitness. If you visit the gym consistently, you see results. Most color should be maintained on a 4-8 week basis. The more we see you, the better your color looks. We advise keeping expectations on the same level of maintenance you’re willing to commit. If you’re a brunette who gets highlights a few times a year but always want blonder, you need to up your schedule or lower expectations. We are confident in our skill but color is a science, so we explain bluntly. Please read the information provided on the color pages to learn more.
