I first met Mariah when she worked at the downtown Studio 39. I’m so glad she is now a master stylist at the Lee’s Summit salon! She does my color and cuts and I always love my hair!
Mariah is a master stylist who does hair extensions in Lee’s Summit. She grew up in the salon business and started Downtown in late 2015 as Gemy’s assistant after she graduated at Paul Mitchell. Her mom was a hairstylist who owned a shop in the town where Mariah and Gemy are from. Her mom gave S39 owner Gemy her first bob haircut AND her first job! Not only does Mariah share history with us, she also shares talent and love for her career.
A Hair Stylist’s Calling
Mariah is experienced in customer service and is known for hair extensions in Lee’s Summit. Her down to earth personality makes you feel welcome and at ease. She loves creating beautiful customized color and she received extensive training on color, cutting and micro link hair and tape hair extensions. Cutting came easily for her so she can grasp complex salon work quickly and easily. This why she serves as master stylist and floor leader at the Lee’s Summit location.
Busy mom life is something she understands, so she takes time to listen to the needs of working moms to get style that works for their life. Complimenting a client’s overall style, as well as their lifestyle is her goal as a master hair stylist. From smoothing treatments to men’s cuts, she is well educated in all of the S39 specialty services as well traditional services like cutting and dimensional foil highlights.
